Job Title: Custody Administrator AssistantLocation: HMP Forest BankSupport safe, secure and efficient custodial operations.We are seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Custody Administrator Assistant to join the Custody Administration Team at HMP Forest Bank. This role plays a key part in supporting the day‑to‑day running of the prison by delivering high‑quality administrative services to custodial and operational teams.Working as part of a busy, multi‑tasked environment, you will help ensure resident records are accurately maintained, securely stored, and managed in line with information governance requirements.Key responsibilities include:Providing general administrative support, including preparation and maintenance of filesManaging filing systems, archiving, retention and secure destruction of resident recordsHandling telephone, face‑to‑face and written enquiries professionallyManaging incoming post and correspondence with internal and external stakeholdersSupporting the wider administration team with ad‑hoc duties as requiredAbout you:You will have strong administrative experience, sound IT skills (particularly Microsoft Word and Excel), and a good eye for detail.
