As our Learning and Development Manager you’ll be building the capability and capacity of bold leaders across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, so they can better support people to move more.
You’ll be a natural at building rapport with people and use your skills to foster and maintain key strategic relationships to support development across multiple organisations and sectors.
You’ll be able to spot gaps and trends, to build learning opportunities that are relevant and engaging
You’ll be creative in your evaluation, helping us to learn and understand the impact developing the workforce has on the ambitions of We Can Be Active.
* Full time role (35 hours per week)
* Salary range: £32,500 to £39,200 per annum
* 10% Employer pension contribution
We offer great flexibility as an organisation. We’re in the office two days a week and make sure we’re all in Winchester on a Tuesday. The rest of the week is a mix of working in the office, remotely in our priority places or at home – each week could be different.
We work across the whole of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, some travel across the area will be expected as part of the role.

* Build, foster, develop and maintain key strategic relationships to support the development of bold leaders across the system.
* Support all partners to share learning and to include creative evaluation methods.
* Gather and use local, regional, and national insight to support the delivery of projects which focus on increasing the breadth and diversity of bold leaders who will support the ambitions of We Can Be Active.
* Lead the day-to-day management of workforce related projects and work closely with colleagues to shape and map the direction for this work.
* Where relevant, identify funding to deliver initiatives, projects and programmes aligned to the We Can Be Active strategic goals.
* Lead on the Energise Me People Plan and manage associated actions
