Job Title: History Teacher Location: Sheffield (S5, S9) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Can you bring history to life and encourage pupils to connect with the events that shaped our world? GSL Education are looking for a dedicated History Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across schools in Sheffield, including those within the S5 and S9 areas. As a History Teacher, you will deliver lessons that build critical thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of historical events, while fostering an inclusive classroom where pupils are confident to engage. Core Responsibilities: Deliver well-structured history lessons aligned with the curriculum. Encourage analytical thinking, discussion, and independent learning. Maintain a focused, inclusive, and well-managed classroom. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school objectives. Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or another accredited teaching credential. Experience working as a History Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
