Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching with high expectations and effective use of assessment.
* Teach Chemistry up to GCSE (and A Level if qualified), with some KS3 general science.
* Support pupil progress by providing clear feedback, reports, and tailored support for individual needs.
* Foster curiosity and academic enquiry, inspiring enthusiasm for Chemistry across the school.
* Contribute to departmental development, resources, enrichment programmes, and trips.
* Collaborate with colleagues, attend department meetings, INSET, and share best practice.
* Support pupils with academic choices, university applications, and wider development.
* Play an active role in pastoral care, including tutoring and supervisory duties as required.
* Lead or support co-curricular activities aligned with personal skills and interests.
* Uphold school policies and values, including safeguarding, health and safety, and equality.

* Outstanding subject knowledge, relevant academic qualifications, and ability to communicate enthusiasm for the subject.
* Ability to deliver dynamic and effective lessons to the full range of abilities.
* Highly effective communication skills for interacting with all members of the School community.
