Yiayias is an award-winning Greek & Cypriot Restaurant, with locations in Farnham, Surrey and Winchester, Hampshire and we are looking for a Chef with experience delivering great Mediterranean/Greek food to join our fantastic team. At our Yiayias Restaurants, you can expect a warm welcome, great service and fantastic, freshly prepared Greek, Cypriot and Mediterranean dishes.
Yiayias is recently under new ownership, and are looking to grow, and this has created opportunities for a number of chefs of different levels across both sites.
Job Purpose
To work as part of our team to provide consistently high-quality food and service to our customers, and to work collaboratively with both back and front-end staff to ensure Yiayias standards are maintain and that everyone who walks in the door has a great experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to maintain the company's culinary vision and deliver a high standard of food at all times.
Ensuring that the quality of food is consistently high and that hygiene standards are exceeded.
You will work with the Head Chef to constantly develop and evolve the menu
Ensuring high quality food preparation prior to service
Maintain strong communication with the Front of House Team.
Ensure portion standards and the quality of each dish.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitisation practices in the kitchen.

Experience
_We are open to look for Chefs at all levels, whether this be someone who is currently training or recently finished training and is looking for their first role in a Kitchen or whether you are experienced in a fast-paced food environment looking for your next challenge._
_Ideally you will already have a Food Hygiene (EHO) certificate, but if this is your first role from training or while training, we would support you to achieve the required level._
_More snr roles would require experience in a kitchen environment._
