If so, the Senior Supply Chain Planner vacancy here at Harding could be an ideal next challenge… About the role: The Senior Supply Chain Planner will ensure the regional supply chain plan supports the commercial targets of the business and is within operational cost targets. You will integrate across Merchandising, Logistics, and Retail Operations, being the central point of clarity, gathering and communicating insight to other departments. This will enable teams to focus on their core roles, with the confidence that you will highlight any issues and, where possible, resolve ahead of time. The goal is becoming one of those people “constantly in the know”, who is on the pulse of the key business activities. Key skills include being structured, analytical, realistic, and having excellent interpersonal skills. The role is based in Avonmouth and offered on a hybrid working basis – 2/3 days per week in the office. Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown) What you will be doing: Accountable for planning and optimising the global delivery schedule and routes of supply from source to ship for a given region Budget and manage logistic costs and identify opportunities for improvement Manage all stock-supply conversations with Retail Operations Proactively identify cost-effective acceleration of stock movements to meet sales demand Capacity planning the physical supply chain (ships, warehouses, trucks) to meet business demand About you: Experience of demand and/or supply planning in a retail, FMCG, or manufacturing environment Background across both stock planning and logistics planning, being familiar with concepts such as stock days, availability, and route planning/optimisation Highly structured approach to working, with good analytical skills and a capacity to learn “Can do” attitude and ability to defend a point of view An excellent and structured communicator, with strong relationship building skills at all levels Proficient in presentation skills Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Key Attributes – trust, collaboration, respect, passion, drive, resilience About us: Harding is leading the way in innovative onboard cruise retailing, working closely with our cruise line partners and brand partners to ‘make every cruise better’.
