Facilities Coordinator - Crewe
£30,000 to £37,000 per annum

As a Facilities Coordinator, you will manage all site facilities, both internally and externally. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all H&S policies and procedures are in place, managing maintenance contracts, fire regulations, contract management, and project delivery. You will also oversee staff training, maintain H&S standards for employees and visitors, and supervise contractors.
You will address maintenance issues promptly, arrange testing and checks, and ensure compliance policies are followed. This role suits someone highly organised, driven, and capable of forward planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee office administration and daily operations.
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety compliance.
* Manage stationery, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
* Update and enforce policies.
* Maintain employee training records.
* Coordinate maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment.
* Handle vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
* Develop and implement office policies to improve efficiency.
* Proactively address potential issues.
* Project manage contractors, including tenders and contracts.
* Plan future office or ground developments aligned with business goals.
* Lead change management to minimise disruption.
* Manage services like security, maintenance, cleaning, waste, and recycling.
* Optimize space and resource utilisation.
* Respond to emergencies or urgent issues promptly.
* Ensure fire and first aid regulations are met, with emergency systems and back-up marshals.
* Manage site health and safety, supplies, and liaise with HSE.
* Manage risks and budgets related to responsibilities.
* Coordinate DSE and pregnancy questionnaires, ensuring timely action and referrals.
Requirements
* Proven experience in facilities management or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
* Ability to work independently and on initiative.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in office software and tools.
