As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will support students in developing design ideas, practical construction skills, and problem-solving abilities through hands-on projects. You will create a positive learning environment where students can confidently work with materials, tools, and design processes. Key Duties: Plan and deliver practical and creative design technology lessons. Teach safe and effective use of equipment and materials. Assess and monitor student progress regularly. Encourage innovation, independence, and technical understanding. Maintain high standards of behaviour and workshop safety. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting.
