Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to join a welcoming primary school in Rochdale. This full-time role involves supporting and engaging pupils through physical activity, with a particular focus on working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will help deliver fun, structured sports sessions while also supporting pupils in developing confidence, teamwork, and motor skills in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and age‑appropriate sports and physical activity sessions.
* Support children with SEN during PE lessons and other school activities.
* Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour.
* Work closely with teaching staff to ensure all pupils are supported effectively.
* Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience coaching sports or leading physical activities with children.
* Experience working with SEN pupils is desirable.
* Energetic, patient, and positive attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant sports coaching qualification or experience preferred.
