Main Purpose of the Role
* To acquire new business and achieve budget targets aligned with the company's growth strategy.
* To enhance market position by identifying, developing, promoting, negotiating, and securing new business through effective sales closure.
* To develop and maintain DSV Road services for existing and potential clients, ensuring profitability and compliance with operational, statutory, and safety standards, including health & safety, to meet client satisfaction and company profit goals.
Work Experience
* Over 5 years of commercial sales experience, particularly in European groupage services.
* Strong understanding of the international groupage market.
* Proven business development and relationship-building skills.
* Existing industry connections to enable immediate contribution.
* Self-motivated, quick thinker, able to plan and work independently.
Skills Required
* Result-oriented, hardworking, self-starter with good knowledge of European road freight and strong closing skills.
* Positive mindset, continuously striving to exceed expectations and resilient in achieving goals.
* Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills, with accurate pipeline forecasting.
* Effective communicator at all business levels, with persuasive negotiation skills.
* Strong processing and time management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Driven by initiative, determination, and persistence.
