Job Description
We are currently hiring an experienced Machinist, with a strong background operating a variety of manual machines such as lathe, milling, grinding, to manufacture a variety of high-quality components.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 Friday 08:00-16:00
Rate: £16 £18.74
Location: Andover
Key Responsibilities
* Producing and verifying precision components
* Ensure Company H&S Processes followed.
* Ensuring allocated work progresses in a timely manner and in accordance with workload and specifications.
* Clean tools, equipment, and work areas
* Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
Requirements:
* Experience operating manual machines (Lathe, milling, grinding, etc)
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and blueprints
* Confident in understanding shop fabrication and assembly drawings
* CNC programming experience is desirable but not essential.
