This is a key role within DVSA’s Enforcement directorate, managing the National Enforcement Office, the central hub for enforcement activities. The office works on behalf of the Enforcement Senior Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure effective management of national enforcement and to represent enforcement in cross-agency decision-making.

In collaboration with a colleague, your responsibilities will include:

* Managing the National Enforcement Office, providing escalation points for enforcement staff on sensitive issues to keep Corporate Senior Leaders (CSLs) well informed.
* Leading the coordination of enforcement activities to meet national engagement objectives and deliver products across Enforcement, including workforce planning and recruitment.
* Developing and maintaining effective cross-directorate communication and events that meet business needs and adapt to future requirements.
* Providing leadership to develop capabilities within Impounding, Cabotage, DVSA, and PtS within the Directorate.
* Acting as contract manager for various contracts.
* Serving as information asset owner for various systems.
