Overview
Packaging Technologist role with an external client. You’ll work with Development Chefs and Ops colleagues to coordinate packaging projects, create innovative packaging solutions, manage new and existing projects, and support cost reduction. You may participate in packaging trials on the floor and conduct occasional factory visits. You should be able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be committed to continuous learning and improvement in packaging optimization.
Responsibilities
* Utilise packaging expertise to create innovative solutions and work cross-functionally with artwork teams
* Manage new and existing packaging projects and support cost reduction initiatives
* Participate in packaging trials and provide expert input on the ground where reality meets theory
* Coordinate across cross-functional teams and handle multiple tasks with different timelines
* Contribute to opportunities for packaging optimization and continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Minimum of two years’ experience as a Packaging Technologist
* Full UK driving license
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Unwavering attention to detail
* Experience with chilled product packing is desirable but not required
