Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Primary School | DE65
Smile Education is recruiting for a friendly primary school in DE65 looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025.
About the role:
Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 by delivering targeted interventions, providing 1:1 SEND support, and working closely with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment. Adapt to different year groups and support small groups and individuals to help improve learning and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching and learning in KS1 and KS2 classrooms
* Deliver small group and individual interventions
* Provide dedicated 1:1 SEND support
* Work closely with teachers and SEND staff
* Maintain positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
* Experience supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2
* Confident delivering interventions and SEND support
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Flexible and proactive approach
