Job Overview

South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Community Wellbeing Hubs Administrator for Ellen Badger Hospital. The role is fixed‑term, full‑time (Band 3) with a salary of £25,760–£27,476 per year. Reference number 203‑C570.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide a warm, welcoming reception service for staff, patients and visitors.
* Give non‑clinical information about appointments, processes and procedures.
* Direct patients/clients to the appropriate departments and handle queries at the reception desk.
* Use the hospital IT systems (Lorenzo and Emis) to view, retrieve and manage patient information and appointment schedules.
* Process telephone calls and internal/postal correspondence.
* Arrange patient transport with ambulance services and resolve transport issues.
* Coordinate activity and maintain a booking system for Community Wellbeing Hubs at Ellen Badger, Stratford Hospital and Lillington Health Hub.
* Schedule room bookings, manage social media posts and maintain diaries to avoid clashes.
* Maintain noticeboards and leaflets in the Hubs, ensuring up‑to‑date information is available in multiple formats.
* Support the facilitation of pop‑up events linked to Trust priorities and national initiatives.
* Administer Volunteer Management Software (Better Impact) to record roles, activities and hours.
* Recruit, induct, train and support volunteers, ensuring confident operation within their roles.


Required Experience & Skills

* NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent and good level of general education (GCSE English & Maths or equivalent).
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other electronic systems.
* Ability to maintain accurate records and analyse data.
* Strong written and verbal communication; excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience coordinating multiple diaries/room bookings.
* Ability to work unsupervised, manage workload, meet deadlines and handle pressure.
* Knowledge of equality and diversity issues.
* Desirable: knowledge of hospital IT systems (Lorenzo/Emis).
* Desirable: knowledge of the volunteering sector.
