Our client’s portfolio includes a broad range of residential and extra care work, with additional projects secured across industrial, commercial and logistics sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part II qualified Architect to join a design-led studio at an early stage of growth, with genuine scope to influence projects, develop skills and progress within the business.
Role Overview
As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you will work across a range of RIBA work stages, assisting with the design development, technical documentation and delivery of architectural solutions for projects of varying scale and complexity. You will support both senior designers and directors, contributing to creative design tasks as well as detailed technical production.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, models and documentation from concept through to detailed design and construction stages.
* Contribute to planning submissions, technical packages, schedules and specifications.
* Support preparation of design material and visuals for client presentations.
* Help co-ordinate project documentation for regulatory approvals and tender stages.
* Attend internal and external project meetings as required.
* Liaise with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow.
* Maintain awareness of UK Building Regulations and best practice standards.
* Support general office and studio activities as needed.
Person Specification
* RIBA Part II qualified Architect (or ARB equivalent).
* Proficiency in design software such as ArchiCAD and/or AutoCAD (additional tools such as Revit, SketchUp or Adobe Suite desirable).
* A strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* High attention to detail and a proactive, professional approach.
* Enthusiastic about design, with a willingness to contribute creativity and technical insight across varied project work.
