VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) Location: Heathrow Pay: Up to £45,000 bonus company car Job type: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00, 1 in 3 Saturdays 07:00 – 12:00 About the Role We are recruiting a VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) on behalf of our client, a busy and well-established paint and body shop based in Heathrow. This is a permanent, full-time role offering consistent hours, a strong salary package, and the opportunity to work within a fast-paced accident repair environment. This role may also suit candidates searching for positions such as Vehicle Estimator, Bodyshop Estimator, Automotive Estimator, Accident Repair Estimator or Insurance Engineer, as well as those with transferable experience from bodyshop, automotive repair or claims environments. What You’ll Do Assess vehicle damage and produce accurate repair estimates Use estimating systems such as Audatex or similar Liaise with insurance companies, engineers and customers Identify repair methods, labour times and parts required Monitor repairs and update estimates where needed Work closely with workshop teams to ensure efficient workflow Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years’ experience as a VDA, Estimator or similar role Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and bodyshop processes Experience using estimating systems (e.g. Audatex or similar) Good understanding of insurance claims and procedures Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communication skills Full UK driving licence Who Might Suit This Role This role is ideal for someone already working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator looking for their next step.
