Job Description
This is a site-based role, embedded within the HPC Project Team. You'll ensure supplier-installed systems meet all handover and commissioning requirements. Your mission is to drive readiness, quality, and delivery in Electrical system handover.
* Coordinate technical reviews of EESR documentation and support walkdown inspections
* Manage and optimise system handover and takeover procedures
* Guide Joint Ventures in Electrical EESR preparation and documentation
* Build and maintain the electrical system handover schedule
* Organise and lead walkdowns and punch list categorisation meetings
* Support resolution of EESR comments and punch list close-outs
* Proactively identify installation faults and push for early resolution
* Provide FTC, TFI, and TFM documentation for Electrical systems
Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Strong electrical, I&C, or electronic engineering background
* Experience in installation, commissioning, or operational support
* Proven background in regulated industries like nuclear or oil & gas
* Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks
* Effective troubleshooting and fault resolution skills
* Degree qualified in relevant engineering or science subject
* Strong stakeholder coordination and influencing capability
* Ability to work across multi-discipline project environments
Desired Skills
* Chartered Engineer or equivalent status
* Previous nuclear power project experience
* Knowledge of safety case and substantiation processes
* Familiarity with UK licensing and Intelligent Customer principles
* Experience leading or mentoring technical engineering teams
