Overview
Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers around the Lichfield area to support one of our most valued clients: one of the UKs leading names in DIY and Home Improvement products.
Role: Class 1 Drivers Needed for ongoing work in Lichfield. 10 hours minimum paid hours with a paid break, plus daily bonus paid and overtime after 10 hours.
Responsibilities
* Deliver caged goods to retail stores across the UK
* Handball duties including unloading onto tail lift and moving to back doors
* Unload when hands from back doors; work with pre-loaded trailers to ensure a smooth start to each shift
Shift pattern and pay
Shift pattern: Monday–Friday every week, guaranteed bookings. Start times: 02:00–04:00 or 11:00–16:00. A daily bonus applies to both start windows (£60 on AM or £70 on PM on a 5-day week). Overtime after 10 hours per day / 50 hours per week.
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 Licence held and used for over 1 year
* No more than 6 penalty points
* No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements
* Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
* Punctual, reliable, and respectful of others time
* Physically capable and comfortable with handball duties
