Job Description: Teaching Assistant at Witherslack Group
Our Teaching Assistants are fulfilled by making positive changes in young people's lives, celebrating small victories that add up to significant progress. You will work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, helping them learn, develop, and boost their self-esteem.

Skill set requirements
* Experience working with autistic pupils, including non-verbal communication methods like Makaton, PECs, and PODD.
* Ability to support pupils with challenging behaviors, understanding their behavioral functions.
* Flexibility to work with pupils aged 4 to 11 years.
* Creative and adaptable teaching approach, delivering a bespoke curriculum.
* Knowledge of autism strategies such as TEACCH, attention autism, and PODD.
