Stock controller required - Immediate start - up to£13ph - Ipswich, Suffolk.
We are looking for an experienced stores person who has a previous background in inventory management. This would require strong admin & computer skills as you will be responsible for ensuring all stock is continually updated on the system.
Stores Person duties include:-
1. Maintain the stores / warehouse in a professional manner ensuring the computer records are accurately maintained in accordance with the company procedures.
2. Daily booking in and out of components, kits & finished products to achieve on time delivery of customer's orders
3. Regularly reconcile physical stock to computerised records
4. Book in goods received
5. Pack & dispatch completed orders
6. Be responsible for own health and safety and personal development, keeping up to date with relevant issues in relation to job role and to demonstrate good housekeeping of the warehouse
Previous warehouse experience is essential, but some training will be provided. You must be computer literate & ideally familiar with stock control (SAP) systems.
Standard working hours, 08:00-17:00.
This role starts as an on-going contract with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period.
