Location:Ely and surrounding areas
Working Days:Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours:9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working)
Hourly Rate:£30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)
Role Focus:One-to-One Teaching for SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs
Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting students with diverse needs?
We are looking for experiencedSEN Teacherswho are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. This role offers the opportunity to provide personalised academic and emotional support to students facing a range of challenges, including Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, and medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Create Supportive Learning Environments:Establish safe, nurturing spaces where students feel empowered to learn and grow.
* Deliver Personalised Education:Design and implement tailored learning plans that reflect each student's individual strengths and needs.
* Engage Families:Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support and progress beyond the classroom.
* Promote Positive Development:Deliver engaging lessons that build confidence, resilience, and academic success.
* Lead by Example:Model positive behaviours and values that encourage lifelong learning and personal growth.
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)
* Minimum of two years' teaching experience
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
* Experience teaching across Key Stages 1 to 4
* Excellent English proficiency and experience supporting students with SEN
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and legal right to work in the UK
* Solid understanding of safeguarding procedures
