Remuneration: £55,000-£65,000 neg. + 10%-20% Bonus

Responsibilities
* Field sales position selling our clients designed, extruded and distributed range of curtain walling, high performance windows & doors, window walling, architectural hardware, solar shading and natural ventilation applications, as well as passing rainscreen cladding projects to a dedicated field sales specification team.
* Influence architects to win specifications for façade, window and glazing applications.
* Manage relationships with 12-15 key aluminium fabricators, checking availability for projects.
* Target commercial projects, predominantly education/schools, healthcare, retail, office and some high end residential.
* Meet a specification revenue target of approximately £1.8m.
* Handle project sizes typically around £75,000 metal (aluminium) value, ranging from £2,000 to £500,000.
* Inherit and focus on a £12m project bank for new business development rather than converting existing projects.
* Conduct a couple of CPDs per month once established.
* Chase Glenigan leads, leads from fabricators and subcontractors, and manage specifications through tendering, metal ordering, and project completion.
Qualifications
* Proven field sales track record within architectural specification sales, ideally architectural aluminium systems.
* Background in façade, curtain walling, window/glazing systems, or building envelope is a plus.
* Stable career history with no job hopping.
* Technical knowledge of products.
* Team player and autonomous in nature.
* Energetic, tenacious with a high drive and a "get up and go" attitude.
