PRINT OPERATOR
WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW
* Day or Night Shift available

ROLE DETAILS
* Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department.
* Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied, QC to job requirements.
* Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
* Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered.
* Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;
* Operating Print Machines / Guillotines and Folders
* Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations.
* Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
* Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
* Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
* Experience with Muller / Heidelberg
* Operational experience with print.
* Demonstrable attention to detail.
* Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.
* Flexible and effective team member.
