Ryan Hanley, now part of Stantec, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with experience in wastewater design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design and delivery of wastewater treatment/network projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing designs for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and network infrastructure.
* Preparation of feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.
* Compilation of specifications and tender documents.
* Preparation of planning application documents.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients and contractors.
* Manage others in the preparation of drawings and other inputs.
* Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant third level degree in engineering (Level 8 minimum).
* Ideally 5 years' post qualification experience with a minimum 3 years' experience in wastewater design.
* Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage deadlines and effectively handle multiple tasks.
* Proficiency in industry‑standard software.
