Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team in the day to day running of the company. This role will initially be primarily sales ledger focussed with other admin/accounts duties as required.
Monday - Friday - 9.00am to 3.00pm (30 hours per week).
This position is a four month fixed term contract (September/October/November/December) with a view to becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
Duties
* Data entry of daily sales records
* Daily reconciliation of sales/payments
* Ensuring/taking prompt payments from customers
* Reviewing of debtors listings and providing reports as required
* Assisting customers with accounts queries
* Sending weekly/monthly statements as required
* Assisting with weekly/monthly reconciliations for larger contract companies
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a sales ledger/accounts function preferred, however full training will be provided
* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Fully competent using Microsoft Excel (for reconciliation purposes)
