Beach Baker is working with a growing regional property team to recruit an experienced Senior Commercial Property Management Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for a varied commercial portfolio across Cornwall and Devon, working in a friendly and sociable environment with genuine flexibility.
The Role
You will manage a substantial mixed commercial portfolio, taking full ownership of day‑to‑day management, client relationships and service delivery. The work is varied and includes office, retail and light industrial assets.
Key duties include:
1. Managing a diverse commercial property portfolio
2. Tenant liaison, lease management and compliance
3. Organising inspections, maintenance and H&S
4. Preparing and overseeing service charge budgets
5. Managing lease events, rent reviews and L&T matters
6. Providing high-quality service to both clients and occupiers
7. Working independently with minimal supervision
This role is ideal for someone confident, professional and proactive who enjoys responsibility and autonomy.
About You
We are looking for:
8. MRICS‑qualified surveyors, consideration given to candidates working towards APC
9. Strong knowledge of commercial property management
10. Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
11. Excellent communication and organisational skills
12. A positive, client-focused approach
Salary & Benefits
13. £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience
14. 33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)
