Basic Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to ensure all needs are met.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with your pupils, driving interaction and fostering positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background at the degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience.
* Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
* Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
* Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
* Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education.
