About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Practitioner. No two days are the same with Turning Point Scotland!
You will provide personalized support to individuals, engaging them with hobbies and interests to empower them to develop skills and independence.
About You
You will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people in living their best lives. Flexibility to work on a rota is required. You will be supported by an approachable management team, allowing you to expand your knowledge and develop new skills.
About Us – Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright
We are a residential service supporting people with mental health issues, physical health conditions, and learning disabilities. We provide 24/7 support to help individuals live their best lives, including sleepover shifts, for which you will receive an additional £100.80 per shift on top of your £12.60 per hour.
Support Practitioner Responsibilities
* Providing individualized support to adults with diverse needs, either one-on-one or as part of a team.
* Supporting individuals within the community, engaging in hobbies and interests, and empowering skill development and independence.
* Attending community groups, accompanying service users to activities like cinema visits, swimming, community projects, holidays, and trips.
* Assisting with personal care to ensure comfort and wellbeing.
* Celebrating achievements and milestones to foster a positive environment.
