Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Coordinator to join a house builder in Southampton. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, with an annual salary ranging from £45,000 to £60,000, plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the construction manager with the design process, including statutory approvals and technical accuracy.
* Control changes to initial plans and drawings.
* Manage discharge of planning conditions.
* Participate in project design review meetings.
* Evaluate progress, research and implement new procedures and construction methods.
* Maintain a cost‑effective approach and update the standard details library.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a technical coordinator in a housing or residential construction role.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Proactive, reliable, highly organised with clear communication skills.
* Ability to take responsibility and provide support to team and technical manager.
