About the Role
Oracle is building a specialist team to drive growth in our UK Defence business, with a focus on enabling modernisation and mission effectiveness through Oracle’s Database Platform (DBP) and wider cloud portfolio.
As a Defence Cloud Sales Director – Database Platform, you will play a key role in identifying, shaping and delivering major transformation opportunities in partnership with the UK Ministry of Defence and the wider Defence ecosystem. You will work closely with our field sales teams, partners and Oracle Engineering to position Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as the platform of choice for Defence data workloads and mission-critical applications.

2. Build trusted relationships across Front Line Commands (FLCs), Top Level Budgets (TLBs), DE&S, Dstl, and Strategic Command.
3. Use your sector insight to align Oracle’s database and cloud propositions with Defence mission needs — including data integration, operational resilience, sovereignty, and AI-readiness.
4. Drive engagement across the Oracle partner ecosystem to amplify and accelerate market impact.
5. Collaborate with Oracle’s cross-functional teams, including Oracle Consulting and Oracle Industries, to present a unified, mission-aligned value proposition.
6. Shape long-term account strategies with Sales and Engineering to deliver sustained growth and relevance.
