Location: Rotherham
Salary: £23,971 per annum + benefits
Duration: Temporary until 31 October 2025

The Role
The MIS Assistant is a key member of the MIS team, processing learner information and data for a specific campus within the Group. You will assist learners and academic departments by providing administrative services and advice, supporting the college’s mission to lead skills and innovation through outstanding teaching and learning. Responsibilities include processing learner information such as enrolments, exam entries, transfers, withdrawals, and achievements, and assisting in curriculum planning to ensure high-quality MIS services. The role involves close collaboration with the MIS Officer, Exams Officer, and other team members to ensure an accurate and responsive service.
You will contribute to a high-quality, robust, and informative service throughout the learners’ journey from enrolment to course completion through a proactive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused approach.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in an administrative environment, preferably within education.
* Knowledge of computer packages and ability to work accurately under deadlines, providing excellent customer service.
* Qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE), good IT skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
