Job Title: Freelance CSCS Tutor

Contract: Freelance / Short-term (3-week course)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and engaging Freelance CSCS Tutor to deliver a 3-week face-to-face course in West Yorkshire. The programme will support up to 12 learners and includes Employability, Level 1 Health & Safety, and preparation for the CSCS Green Card Test.
The successful tutor will be learner-focused, motivating, and able to adapt delivery to meet individual needs while maintaining high standards of compliance and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, face-to-face training sessions using PowerPoint presentations and interactive activities
* Teach Employability skills, Level 1 Health & Safety, and CSCS Green Card content
* Prepare learners effectively for the CSCS Green Card Test
* Motivate, support, and engage learners to help them achieve their qualifications
* Adapt delivery methods to meet a range of learner needs and learning styles
* Ensure all deliveries comply with Equality & Diversity (E&D) and Safeguarding requirements
* Complete all learner documentation and course records electronically
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date teaching, attendance, and progress records
* Communicate effectively with learners and internal teams throughout the course
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience delivering CSCS, Health & Safety, or construction-related training
* Ability to engage and motivate learners in a classroom environment
* Strong understanding of Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding in education
* Confident IT skills, including the use of PowerPoint and electronic learning systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with the ability to maintain accurate records
* Self-motivated, reliable, and professional
* Must possess a current, clear DBS check (or be willing to obtain one prior to delivery)
Desirable:
* Teaching or training qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS, or equivalent)
* CSCS-related qualifications or assessor experience
* Experience working with unemployed or adult learners
