The position will involve a mix of home and office-based working, plus some evening attendance at meetings (virtual and in person).
Responsibilities
* Supporting and advising the group on key developments
* Research, monitoring and information on local issues
* Appraising group leadership of significant issues being considered by officers
* Supporting group members with information, advice and complex casework issues
* Providing reports and briefings as requested by group leadership
* Drafting and issuing press releases and preparing replies to routine correspondence
* General administration and support duties
