IT Support Engineer - Onsite (Wrexham)
£150-£180 per day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a busy onsite support team in Wrexham. This role requires strong customer-facing skills, excellent technical ability, and proven experience supporting users in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd Line onsite support to users, including VIP support
* Deliver Windows OS installations, configurations, and deployments
* Support tablet and device rollouts, including imaging, UAT, and end-user handover
* Administer Active Directory, user accounts, group policies, and Exchange support
* Conduct Wintel administration, patching, WSUS management, and Windows Server support (2008/2012/2016)
* Troubleshoot and support TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and general network issues
* Provide LAN support, basic network administration, and assist with CCTV infrastructure
* Support Office 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications
* Assist with infrastructure upgrades, OS updates, and enterprise-wide rollout projects
* Work with ESX VMware, RDP, Citrix Presentation Server environments
Required Experience
* 3-5+ years in an IT Service Desk or 2nd Line Support role
* Strong customer-facing and soft skills - confident supporting users face-to-face
* Hands-on experience with:
o Windows OS / Windows Server
o Active Directory & Exchange
o Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
o O365 support
o Device rollouts & hardware deployment
o VMware / RDP / Citrix environments
* Relevant certifications (MCP/MCSE) highly desirable
