KS2 Teaching Assistant Duties:
* Support children’s learning through small group work, 1:1 support, and in-class assistance.
* Help to deliver a rich, engaging and inclusive curriculum.
* Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND or EAL.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
* Assist with preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation.
* Play an active role in the wider life of the school.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Experience of working with children in a primary school setting, particularly KS2 (desirable).
* A warm, patient and flexible approach with a genuine interest in supporting children’s learning.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent).
* A positive team player with excellent communication skills as the KS2 Teaching Assistant.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
