Registered Manager
Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Chasetown, Staffordshire
Salary: Up to £70,000 + performance bonus
This is a 6-bed therapeutic EBD home with the groundwork already done. It’s registered, resourced, and supported by a provider that believes their managers should have two things: trust and the right tools. You’ll be walking into a space that’s ready for your leadership, a partial team in place, full head office backing, and a genuine appetite for stability and quality practice.
You’ll be the person who sets the tone. The one who brings the team together, builds routines that make sense, and creates a home where children feel safe, respected and able to grow.
What the role involves
You’ll lead from the front, guiding the home with confidence and purpose:
* Build and develop a strong, values-led team who take pride in the work
* Lead safeguarding, quality and day-to-day operations in line with Ofsted expectations
* Embed trauma-informed, relational practice into the fabric of the home
* Work closely with families, local authorities and professionals to keep everyone aligned
* Keep the home inspection-ready through reflection, clarity and good supervision
What you’ll bring
* Level 5 Leadership & Management (or close to completion)
* Experience as a Registered Manager an Ofsted-registered children’s home
* Deep understanding of trauma, attachment and positive behaviour support
* Leadership that blends confidence, empathy and direction
* A genuine commitment to high-quality, child-centred care
Why this stands out
You’ll have real autonomy.
You’ll be supported by a head office team; compliance, HR, finance, operations. All there to lighten the load.
And you’ll be part of a group that invests in its managers because they know good care starts with strong, steady leadership.
It’s a brilliant chance to take ownership of a home with huge potential and build something that lasts.
