Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our new team. This role involves providing high-quality support to residents in our care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
* Assisting residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Supporting individuals with their care plans tailored to their specific needs
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assisting with medication management in accordance with care plans
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in their condition
* Communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
* Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents at all times
* Ensuring very high standards of care and dignity at all times in a person centred environment at all times
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
Experience
* Previous experience working within a care home is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
* Good organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including days, nights and weekends if required

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
