About the Role:
As the Production Manager, you will oversee the entire bakery department, managing day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of product quality and consistency, optimizing production processes, and leading a team of skilled staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the bakery department, including production planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
* Oversee the implementation of production schedules and workflow, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and targets.
* Take full responsibility for the quality and technology of all products, ensuring compliance with recipes, specifications, and customer requirements.
* Collaborate with suppliers of raw materials and ingredients to maintain high-quality inputs and address any issues related to materials or processes.
* Lead, motivate, and supervise the bakery team, providing clear direction, support, and development opportunities.
* Organize work schedules, shift patterns, and vacation plans, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times.
* Monitor workplace safety and compliance with health & safety regulations, taking corrective or disciplinary action when necessary, and recognizing excellent performance where appropriate.
* Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and drive operational excellence.
