About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting students across KS3–KS4 within mainstream secondary school settings. Your focus will be on helping students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to engage, progress, and flourish both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students with a range of SEN needs Assist in classroom activities, ensuring all students can access the curriculum Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being Adapt resources and teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs Requirements To be considered, you must have: ✅ Experience supporting students with SEN ✅ Previous work in a school or educational setting ✅ Confidence working with students in KS3 & KS4 ✅ A proactive, compassionate, and patient approach ✅ Availability for the type of work pattern you choose (full-time, part-time, or flexible) A DBS on the update service is desirable—if you don’t have one, we can support you through the process.
