Location: Midlands Super Hub, Dirft Drive, Crick, NN6 7GZ
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £36,353 – £39,353 (10% bonus potential). Benefits: 25 days annual leave, pension.
Overview
Lead a team of up to 30-40 full and part‑time employees in a specified automation area across shifts. Hold regular one‑to‑one and team meetings, review performance metrics, champion health and safety, drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Manage operations and automation targets in the assigned area.
* Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team, managing attendance, sick absence, training and development.
* Conduct daily performance reviews, analyse mechanical performance metrics and report on areas for improvement.
* Champion health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives with cross‑functional teams.
* Support the Shift Manager to deliver high quality service to customers.
* Use coaching, delegation and feedback to build a high‑performance culture.
