The Role
Our client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Representative to develop and grow a portfolio across the Midlands territory. This is a highly customer facing role, with 80% of your time spent in the field, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting veterinary practices.
You will be responsible for sales development, education, demonstrations, trials, and ongoing customer support, acting as a trusted partner to veterinary professionals and clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage new customer relationships within your territory
* Identify customer needs and create opportunities for both clients and the business
* Deliver compelling product demonstrations and manage customer trials
* Actively manage and progress sales pipeline opportunities to achieve targets
* Support educational and training events
* Provide market feedback on customer requirements and competitor activity
About You
* Degree in a life science subject or proven experience within the veterinary/medical sector
* Strong understanding of business development principles
* Experience with capital equipment sales
* Ability to quickly build a relevant professional network
* Confident presenter with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
* A passion to work within an animal related field
* Professional, personable, and customer-focused
* Commercially aware with a passion for sales and marketing
* Based within the geographic area of responsibility
