Technical Manager (Building)
This role involves overseeing the maintenance team's workload, ensuring statutory compliance and service level agreements are met.
The Technical Manager will lead a team of Maintenance Engineers and Operatives in carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance tasks. This includes building and fire compliance, locking policy, and spare key safe management.
The successful candidate will have experience in building maintenance and repair work, including meeting fire and locking compliance. They will also be able to provide support, advice, and direction to others in installation works or complex repairs.
We are seeking a highly organized individual with excellent prioritization and time management skills. They should be able to plan and manage competing demands to ensure outputs are delivered on time. Utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other IT systems is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety, Safe Systems of Work, and Building regulations. They will also be able to provide practical and creative solutions to resource and technical issues.
