Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale B: £12,926 pro-rata per annum (£22,366 per annum full time/full year equivalent)

With this success has come an increase in pupil numbers that means we now have an exciting opportunity for an inspiring Sports Mentor to join our committed and hardworking team at Hewett Academy.
The Sports Mentor is a role designed to help ensure that our young people have wide access to a variety of sports or physical activities, including working with the community to ensure high quality delivery. We are looking for a dynamic mentor who has a multi-skills approach to help make Hewett an even more active school!

The main responsibility of this role will be:
1. To offer sports club activities after school, as required and necessary.
2. To provide technical and logistical support to the PE department and to act as a coach, taking direction from the PE teachers.
3. To administer and, where appropriate, take part in fixtures for the school sports teams.
The ideal candidate will have/be:

6. Able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision
7. Able to build good working relationships with teaching staff and students and build and retain the confidence of the Academy
