Primary Purpose: Brand Ambassadors bring Tapestry’s iconic brands to life in department stores by embodying our values, driving key business priorities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Through meaningful connections, actionable insights, and a seamless, elevated shopping journey, Brand Ambassadors represent the true spirit of Coach and Kate Spade New York.

We’re hiring a Brand Ambassador for John Lewis & Partners Cribbs Causeway. Reporting to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador for Northern Europe, you’ll collaborate with Tapestry teams, host store leadership, and shopfloor partners to drive brand growth and development.

Please note, this is a part-time (16 hours per week) 12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Retail Customer Service to:

Customer Service

1. Deliver a seamless, elevated customer experience by leveraging brand training, tools, and resources to uphold exceptional service standards
2. Proactively develop clienteling strategies and in-store event ideas, supporting and co-hosting activations that drive engagement and sales
3. Build strong partnerships with local retail teams to gain insights into customer profiles and emerging opportunities. Attend brand events to deepen market knowledge and align with key business priorities

Sales

4. Track and analyse store performance against targets, presenting actionable plans to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador when needed, and regularly monitor trade results to ensure alignment with expectations
5. Build strong relationships with department store management to boost brand visibility and customer loyalty, acting as the key liaison for implementing business initiatives
6. Identify growth opportunities by observing in-store activity, including new activations, local events, and omni-channel engagement strategies

Visual Merchandising

7. Execute visual merchandising (VM) directives, ensuring new season collections are prominently displayed and aligned with delivery schedules
8. Apply VM guidelines effectively during markdown periods, maintaining consistency with regional visual standards and ensuring a cohesive brand presentation
9. Cultivate a strong working relationship with the Regional VM Manager, regularly sharing visual updates and seeking feedback to enhance VM skills and execution

Operations

10. Manage product deliveries and replenishment, ensuring back-of-house areas are clean, organised, and well-maintained. Escalate any operational concerns to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador as needed
11. Complete trade reports promptly, ensuring key product insights and callouts are communicated clearly and efficiently to the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador and Wholesale Sales team
12. Collaborate with the Senior Regional Brand Ambassador to coordinate effective shopfloor coverage, ensuring optimal staffing levels to support business needs and customer experience

The accomplished individual will possess:

13. Minimum of two years’ experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering results
14. Available to work varied hours as required by the store and Tapestry, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
15. Familiarity with department store operations, including customer service, merchandising, and sales strategies
16. Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
17. Knowledge of current industry trends and the ability to apply insights to enhance business outcomes
18. Self-motivated and proactive approach to business development
19. Collaborative team player, passionate about contributing to a positive team culture and achieving shared goals
