The purpose of this post is to cover class teachers when they are not available, e.g. on their PPA time or Management time, supporting pupils and staff to ensure that all pupils reach their full potential. To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This will involve planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short-term for the whole class. It will also involve monitoring pupils then assessing, recording, and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress, and development.
