Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Great Yarmouth
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch (overtime available)
Salary: Competitive depending on experience (Any overtime as/when required would be paid at time & a half)

Role Responsibilities – Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician
* Undertaking the repair, servicing and preparation of motor vehicles, including used cars and customer vehicles
* Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
* Maintaining accurate, detailed records of work undertaken
* Liaising with customers directly to communicate detailed, technical information in such a way that the customer understands
* Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Person Specification:Experienced Vehicle Mechanic/Technician
* A background in mechanics/as a Vehicle Technician
* Previous experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and diagnostic work
* A strong team player
* Previous MOT Testing experience would be preferred but not essential
* Main Dealer experience would be preferred but is not essential as Manufacturer’s and in house training will be provided
* Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills
* A flexible approach to work and able to work efficiently under pressure
