As the business continues to expand and evolve, they are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director to lead the UK based commercial team. The Role As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and developing long-term relationships with key accounts. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy and ensuring the business meets its ambitious growth targets. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers and Key Account Managers across the UK. Develop and execute a robust national sales strategy aligned with company objectives. Identify and secure new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and high-value deals. Oversee customer retention and satisfaction for large accounts, ensuring consistent service excellence. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, operations) to ensure alignment and delivery. Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior leadership. Requirements Candidate Profile Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within manufacturing, ideally in plastics, packaging, or related sectors. Strong track record of team leadership, business development, and key account management. Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and strategic planning skills.
