Title: Product & Compliance Co-ordinator
Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Cheadle, SK8
So, what’s the job ‘in one’?
This is a data processing role that primarily supports Quality Assurance for Wine Product and Producer information. It also involves working closely with the technical team to manage product data for UK Bottled products. This is a coordinating role that spans multiple areas of the business, including Compliance, Product Managers, and Marketing.
What will this involve?
* Support and maintain quality assurance processes, specifically the Supplier Approval Questionnaire (SAQ), as part of the Boutinot Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards.
* Provide ongoing support in maintaining the Bottle Books Agency (Product Information database for Boutinot). This is a supporting role, focusing on updates and maintenance after the initial setup and input by others.
* Take the lead on managing Bottle Books entries for Own Production, Greencroft and associated QR codes, following workflows set by the Technical.
* Be our ‘go-to’ for practical requests relating to our account/liaison with Bottle Books for queries and requests
* Liaise with both own-production sites and PM/PMMs to ensure information is completed in a timely manner and the agreed processes are followed.
* Support new vintage tastings/approval (UK Independents and On-Trade main portfolio) – monitor new vintages arriving in UK, order to be tasted by PM/PMMs. Log technical / compliance information in a timely manner.
* Support Technical with Greencroft samples and reviews. This includes tasting and logging post-production samples for all our own-label wines.
* Support Technical on label compliance and become one of the team members responsible for signing off on label approvals.
* Bevica product set-up checks – have oversight of all products to ensure essential Bevica fields are completed accurately, through a series of processes and supporting reports generated by IT.
* Brandbank – keep up to date for relevant products.
What kind of person are we looking for?
* Ideally, a working knowledge of Bottle Books and its application in product data management.
* Familiar with using Bevica or similar systems.
* Experience using SharePoint for document management and team collaboration.
* Experience in data entry and maintaining databases with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* A science or technical background would be advantageous, but not essential.
* Knowledge of or an interest in wine would be beneficial.
