The Education Network are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bradford. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and physical disabilities.
As part of the role as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals to deliver tailored support and create a nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and routines
Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
Promote independence, confidence, and social skills
Maintain accurate records and support safeguarding procedures
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
